Consistently at the top of the issues list: speeders in the neighborhood.
In late November I had a discussion with our “beat Lieutenant” about getting the speed trailer set up in our neighborhood. I’ve made a couple of recommendations, and am waiting for information about a definitive time and location.
In early December I had a discussion with the Avondale city Traffic Engineer, who indicated he would look up historical information on any traffic studies done in Rio Crossing. (He has only been with Avondale for about 9 months.) In addition, since we have no speed limit signs, he indicated he would get one installed at each entrance; and at the request of one of our residents, be said he would also get “No Outlet” signs on our cul-de-sacs.
